TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Directory Publishers (ADP) bestowed its highest honor, the inaugural Wil Lewis Award, upon Wallace Downey, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Downey Publishing, Inc., during ADP's 2004 Gold Book Dinner and Awards Ceremony, concluding its recent Annual Convention in Austin, Texas.

The Wil Lewis Award, formerly known as the Association's Outstanding Service Award, was renamed in honor and memory of Wilbur D. Lewis, founder of White Directory Publishers, Buffalo, New York, and a three-time past ADP chairman, following his death in 2002 at age 77.
