May 3--AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific University has growing pains.
And, it doesn't help the private Christian college that enrollment at evangelical-based institutions nationwide is growing at a faster rate than other colleges.
Some say it's partly due to Christian colleges picking up the slack from overcrowded public institutions. Others attribute the trend to an increase in religious conversions.
