PHILADELPHIA -- There was near-total silence in the Norfolk Admirals' Wachovia Center locker room Saturday after they were eliminated from the playoffs by the Philadelphia Phantoms.
Careful listening, however, brought up a few small sounds.
The shifting of ice bags on wounded limbs. The rustling in a medical satchel as a physician prepared to stitch up a player lying on the trainer's table.
