May 4--Members of the teen councils of the 4-H programs in Walton and Okaloosa counties want to toe the line when it comes to recycling.
Saturday marked the kickoff of the students' local Monofilament Recovery and Recycling Program to collect and recycle fishing line.
Brittany Stark, 13, and 15-year-old Jason Newton are part of the 4-H program in Walton County and are eagerly participating in the local recycling effort.
"It's a neat idea," Newton said.
