Use of a simple retrofit kit that requires no modifications to the burner-tube assembly or any expensive add-on controls can substantially reduce NOx emissions from heat treating furnace radiant tube burners. NOx and heat-transfer benefits are realized using the available fuel pressure with minimal penalty to overall furnace economics.
