CALENDAR GIRLS is set to be turned into a West End musical. Makers of the award-winning film are in talks to translate the story to the stage.
It would follow two other recent British hits, The Full Monty and Billy Elliot, which have both been adapted for the theatre.
"It is something we are discussing internally at the moment," said a spokeswoman for Calendar Girls film distributor Buena Vista.
"It's nothing we can say a whole lot about as yet because it's early days.
