ISLAMABAD, May .04 (PPI): National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and Sohrab have teamed up to design and market widely used commercial products.
According to a Memorandum of Understanding signed, bicycles and rickshaws would be designed by NESCOM and manufactured/ marketed by Sohrab, while PSF will co-ordinate and facilitate.
These are the first commercial products designed by a public sector organisation for the benefit of the common man.
Chairman, PSF, Dr Farid A Malik, Managing Director, Sohrab, Saqib and Chairman, NESCOM, Dr Samar Mubarik Mand signed the MoU at the PSF headquarters.
