NEW YORK, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has joined mayors of more than 30 U.S. cities, representing more than 30 million people and 16 of the largest U.S. cities, to declare May 7th AIDS Orphans Day. This third annual worldwide event is part of a growing movement to encourage governments, the U.N., aid donors and corporations to give top priority to care and funding for the 100 million AIDS orphans expected in 2010.
