May 11--EGV Entertainment Plc, the country's second-largest cinema operator, expects its sales for the financial year ending in June to fall about 200 million baht short of its target of 1.5 billion baht, due to a dearth of box-office smashes.
Especially when compared to the first three months of last year, a growing number of Thai films -- especially the action film Ong Bak -- were the key drivers of growth, while this year no big hits were seen.
