Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'F1+' rating to Washtenaw County, MI's $11 million general obligation limited tax notes, series 2004 taxable obligations (the notes). The notes are scheduled to sell on a negotiated basis in early June through Comerica Securities. Dated the day of sale, the notes will mature in March 2005 and will not be subject to redemption prior to maturity.
The 'F1+' rating, which is of the highest short-term credit quality, reflects the strong coverage of expected note repayment resources and ample liquidity derived from the county's general fund pledge and the ...
