May 11--APPLETON, Wis. -- Downtown businesses are looking to add ringing cash registers to the music of the night now that "The Phantom of the Opera" is playing at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
The popular musical started its 32-show engagement last Wednesday.
The Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, 333 W. College Ave., is getting into the musical spirit by having an outdoor piano bar under its front canopy before each night's show, said Jay Schumerth, the hotel's general manager.
