Despite the tack of scientific confirmation of their alleged powers, psychics continue to gain popularity in a credulous society. Some have undergone makeovers, transforming themselves from ordinary psychics to psychic sleuths and beyond--communicants with the Great Beyond, in fact. One such purveyor is Phil Jordan, whose flagging career has been given new impetus by popular TV mediums (i.e., those who purport to communicate with the dead). Jordan has climbed aboard that spiritualist bandwagon. I donned a disguise to get close to him and check out his alleged powers.
