IRVING, Texas _ Sergio Garcia has struggled to maintain his position among the PGA Tour's elite, reworking his swing for the long haul. He will get an accurate assessment of where he stands in Sunday's final round of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship.
Continuing his season-long improvement, Garcia shot a 5-under 65 on Saturday at the TPC Four Seasons at Las Colinas. At 11-under 199, the Spaniard held a two-stroke lead over Jerry Kelly.
Garcia faces a difficult task to win his first tour event in more than two years. The leaderboard is crowded with players capable of making a charge at an event known for Sunday dramatics.
