May 16--The Santa Barbara Conference & Visitors Bureau and Film Commission has named Kathy Janega-Dykes as its new president and CEO. She takes over the top position formerly held by Margaret "B" Corkery, who left the visitors bureau last March.
Ms. Janega-Dykes is a veteran of the Santa Barbara tourism industry. She returns to the local visitors bureau on June 14 after spending the past six years as head of the Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau.
