Attendees of the Professional School Photographers Association Annual Convention, held Feb. 9-11, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nev., received welcome news. After falling steadily since the mid-1990s, student purchase rates exhibited a modest increase during the fall 2003 season. The industry, however, still faces many challenges.
