NEW YORK, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sports Network, the nation's leading international and real-time sports wire service providing sports data, information, statistics and other content on a 24/7 basis, announced today that it has filed a lawsuit against ESPN/SportsTicker. The complaint alleges theft, copying, illegal use and re-sale of The Sports Network's proprietary Minor League Baseball data by ESPN/SportsTicker. Minor League Baseball has been a client of The Sports Network since November of 2003. The complaint was filed with the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York.
