In a sharply worded response to the recently released Inspector General (IG) report on the proposed acquisition of Boeing [BA] KC-767 tankers, the Air Force concurred on at least one point, agreeing that support costs were too high in the originally negotiated contract.
The unusually contentious exchange between the Pentagon's IG and the Air Force had the military disagreeing on almost every key finding with just a few exceptions.
