Nancy Larraine Hoffmann will announce next week whether she will mount a primary race against challenger Tom Dadey to keep the state Senate seat she's held for two decades.
Speaking at a news conference late Friday afternoon at her Syracuse office, Hoffmann also said she had withdrawn her name from consideration when the Oneida County Republican Committee meets Thursday to pick a Senate candidate.
The move probably would give Dadey the Oneida County endorsement to add to those he's already gained from committees in Onondaga, Madison and Cayuga counties.
