WHAT many people cannot accept is the notion that an exit poll can decide an election victory of candidates.
To them the device defies reason and logic, and can even be seen as a scheme to cheat.
Two media establishments and a senator are saying that an exit poll is credible and therefore, decisive.
If that is their contention, the ordinary man in the street says, "then lets do away with actual canvassing of votes."
The public apathy and confusion marked by charges and countercharges from all political persuasions has been triggered by the much-criticized exit poll results.
Many of the voters just do not see the exit polls ...
