BON APPETIT BUYS CONSUL CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
For Bon Appetit Management Company, the acquisition of Consul Foodservice Management is the beginning of a company growth strategy that Fedele Bauccio and his partner Ernie Collins envisioned when the company entered the contract-management segment in 1987. "We decided that we never want to go into a new market cold," says Bauccio. "We will go outside of California and Oregon if that's where our clients take us, because by expanding with a client, we have a starting foothold."
