MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost did his primary scouting work on playing the Montreal Expos in San Juan, Puerto Rico, about 10 days ago in, of all places, New York City.
"Tommy Glavine said to be real careful," Yost said of his conversation with the New York Mets pitcher whom Yost has known since their days together with the Atlanta Braves.
Glavine's warning had nothing to do with San Juan. In fact, the Brewers spent Monday's off-day getting a taste of the surroundings for their three-game series.
