If you had never seen baseball before and stumbled into U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago last weekend, you could have quickly identified the superior team.
The White Sox outscored the Twins 14-7. The White Sox hit more homers, 4-1. The White Sox compiled a 2.33 ERA to the Twins' 4.50.
The White Sox sent lumberjacks like Frank Thomas, Magglio Ordonez, Paul Konerko, Carlos Lee and Jose Valentin to the plate, and impressive veteran starters like Esteban Loiaza and Mark Buehrle to the mound.
