ATHENS, Greece-The organizing committee of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, has purchased a 200 million euro ($236 million) insurance program to cover third-party liability risks.

The coverage is written by Athens-based insurer Agrotiki Insurance S.A. and is reinsured in the Lloyd's of London and London company markets, said Anthony Swinglehurst, managing director of London-based broker Swinglehurst Ltd.

Swinglehurst worked with a domestic Greek broker and with consultants Mar Risk Services Ltd. in London to place the risk.
