May 20--Charter boat companies and dive schools that have taken a financial beating from recent rough seas and windy weather are now breathing a sigh of relief that the forecast seems to be improving.
"For the last ... weeks it's been blowing like crazy," said Randy Sidwell of Ocean Extreme Boat and Waverunner Rentals, Inc. in Boca Raton. "I would say certainly we lost 25 percent" of business. "I was looking for Chamber of Commerce weather: no winds, 80 degrees, a perfect day."
