May 20--Another month; another record.
The median price for homes in San Bernardino County rose to $229,000 in April, up 23.8percent from the $185,000 median 12 months earlier, says DataQuick Information Systems, a La Jolla based real estate information reporting service.
In March, the median price reached $221,000, eclipsing a record of $215,000, which was set in December.
Despite some concerns about housing inventory levels, the number of homes sold was a record for the month of April.
