ST. LOUIS _ Hockey agent David Frost and his client, St. Louis Blues player Mike Danton, tried to obstruct justice by concocting a phony insanity defense during hours of jailhouse phone conversations in the days following Danton's arrest, a federal prosecutor said Friday.
After hearing three of 79 recorded conversations between Danton and Frost played at a hearing in East St. Louis, a judge decided to keep Danton jailed pending trial on charges that he conspired to have Frost killed.
