As one might expect from a man who runs a Canterbury-based called the Chaucer Group, the tale of how Bob Laslett came to be the new sponsor of Wolverhampton Wanderers is a good one.
Few in the football world had heard of Mr Laslett before his company this week agreed to pump pounds 2 million into the Molineux coffers for the honour of having their name on Wolves' shirts for the next two years.
