2003 was the year for the emancipation of chemical business. Although the chemical market met with quite a lot of interference such as SARS epidemic, price rise of raw materials and trade warfare, the chemical business in many companies performed well.
CNPC and SINOPEC seized the opportunity of market transformation, actively conducted external market promotion and expanded market scale. They also conducted internal readjustment to the product structure, optimized management and reduced cost.
