CNNIC suggests allowing individuals to register for .CN domain names
Shanghai. May 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - The China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) has suggested to relevant government departments that individuals be allowed to register for .CN Internet domain names. China currently prohibits individuals from registering for .CN domain names.
"Prohibiting individuals from registering is not an appropriate way for China to manage the .CN domain name system and information security," Sun Lemin, a media official with CNNIC, told Interfax.
