WEYBRIDGE, England, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Today (25 May) representatives from the Road Haulage Association, together with three hauliers, met with Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Healey, for what was a very constructive meeting.
The intention was to discuss with Government officials the consequences being suffered by the road haulage industry as a result of the current high level of fuel prices and the imposition of an additional 1.92 tax in September.
