You'd think I'd be a muscle car guy, given that I was a high school senior when these cars first were all the rage. The parking lot at my Marion, Ind. high school was filled with Boss Mustangs, GTOs and Chevelles...and there was my bulbous, Midnight Blue 1937 Plymouth four-door sedan parked right along side them. I had no trouble locating my car in that lot in those days.
While many of the GM, Ford and Mopar cars built during the late '60s to early '70s are often clumped together as "muscle cars," it's truly a small pack of them that can really be classified today using that identification. In the Pontiac line, it's the Firebird Trans ...
