SALINE, Mich. _ Say ``kayak,'' and few people would think of the boat Rick Kuhn paddled across the test pond at the Kayak Corral.
Bright-red plastic, barely six feet long and with squared-off ends, it looked like something you would find on a playground or kids carnival ride.
But it's part of the broad spectrum of modern kayaking, a boat Kuhn could roll 360 degrees and flip end-over-end in fast or calm water.
