Plenty of professionals can create a tire pit or waterfeature. If you can mix the two, you're a specialist.
But it's harder than it sounds. That's because water quells fire and no off-the-shelf components currently available can stop this from happening. So, for now, fire-and-water features are mostly fashioned by high-level, special-effects experts who work primarily for casinos, rock shows and other big-ticket commercial venues. These boutique firms design each project and custom-make the components. And they charge top dollar--from tens of thousands to millions.
