May 27--The city and its Marina District developer are at an impasse and may have to part ways, Toledo Mayor Jack Ford said yesterday.

The feeling seems to be mutual.

Developer Bruce Douglas said he notified Mayor Ford on Friday that the team had lost confidence in the city's willingness to negotiate a deal.

At issue is the proposed development of a 125-acre parcel along the Maumee River in East Toledo into a regional destination project with a marina, new retail and entertainment venues, market-rate housing, and a new sports and concert arena to replace the ...
