University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors recently named Dr. Horace A. Judson as the seventh president of Grambling State University. Judson, chosen Dr. Horace A. Judson from 49 candidates during a four-month national search, will officially assume his new position June 1, replacing acting president Neari F. Warner.
Prior to coming to the historically Black university, Judson served 9 1/2 years as president of Plattsburg State University of New York, and more recently as a senior fellow at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
