A comprehensive new report provides some troubling insights about the health of King County, including that the rate of diabetes among adults has doubled in the past decade.
The report, released Friday by Public Health - Seattle & King County, also found that African Americans, the poor and residents of South Seattle and South King County are dying younger and suffering disproportionately from chronic diseases and a lack of access to health care.
