QVDS, Inc., a San Diego company that sells home window blinds and shutters over the Internet, has temporarily suspended operations, but whether it's still in business is up in the air.
The e-commerce firm that ranked among the San Diego Business Journal's 2001 List of Fast-Growing Private Companies did not return numerous phone calls made over several days to its main office or at a subsidiary business. Messages left on a voice mail system were not returned.
In recent weeks, the company has been the subject of numerous customer complaints for non-delivery of orders and lack of response to customers' inquires.
