Air Force Reserve medical officers looking to broaden their knowledge and establish professional relationships with their counterparts within NATO may do so through participation in the Confederation of International Officers of the Medical Reserve.
Established in Brussels, Belgium, in 1948, CIOMR is a "dynamic organization comprised of delegations from reserve officer associations throughout NATO," said Col. (Dr.) Arnyce Pock, commander of Detachment 2, 311th Human Systems Wing, Bolling Air Force Base, D.C. "Currently, there are 18 member nations and an additional 11 nations that hold associate member status."
