General Dynamics is a public company active in business aviation, defence systems, mission-critical information systems, shipbuilding and marine systems. It is also active in the market for amphibious combat vehicles and systems. Alvis, also a public company, designs, develops and produces armoured combat vehicles (ACVs) and military land systems.
