The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is a unique federation of voluntary health organizations and individuals dedicated to assisting individuals who have rare diseases. It also assists organizations serving those individuals. NORD's commitment is to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders through programs of education, advocacy, research, and service.
