DALLAS, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- As of 5:30 pm today, TXU Electric Delivery, a subsidiary of TXU Corp. , reported approximately 280,000 homes and businesses out of power in the TXU Electric Delivery service area. At the height of the storm on the evening of June 1, more than half a million homes and businesses, including about 25 percent of residents in the Metroplex, were without power.
