This month's Our Take features Domino's Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. The new foodservice item mimics the taste of the well-known cheese steak sandwich from the City of Brotherly Love. We thought the Domino's concept for a cheese steak pizza was extremely unique and wanted to study it as a product that might initially go against consumer expectations.

Domino's Philly Cheese Steak Pizza contains most of the ingredients found in a traditional cheese steak sandwich and contains a melted layer of provolone cheese to differentiate it from the red sauce of most pizzas. The product is currently available nationally.
