Baosteel wins bid to renovate San Francisco's Bay Bridge Francisco
Shanghai. June 3. INTERFAX-CHINA - Baosteel, China's largest steel producer, announced recently that its manufacturing subsidiary, Baosteel Industrial Development Company, had won a bid to supply the renovation project for a segment of San Francisco's Bay Bridge in the United States with structural steel products.
According to Liu Peiwen, an official with the Materials Supply Service Center for Important Projects at Baosteel, the total bid volumes amount to more than 5,000 tons of structural steel products, to be produced and shipped to the United States by the end of the year.
