Prisoners kill ex-con

A news blackout was reportedly issued to cover up the death of an ex-convict who was said to have been killed by two inmates last Sunday afternoon.

A National Bureau of Prisons (NBP) insider who refused to be named said the news blackout was ordered to cover up the death of Salvador Duran, a native of Bicol and a temporary resident of Camp Bukang Liwayway inside the NBP Maximum Security Compound, Barangay Poblacion, Muntinplupa City.

Duran who suffered many stab wounds in the body was reportedly found near a river in Camp Bukang Liwayway.
