NEW ORLEANS, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- - Preliminary Phase II Study Results Presented at the 40th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
Preliminary results from a Phase II clinical study of CAELYX(TM) (pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride) and Herceptin(R) (trastuzumab) showed promising activity, with limited cardiotoxicity, in patients with HER-2 positive(1) metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Findings from this study were reported today at the 40th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)(2) (Poster #E4, Abstract #630).
