Sycamore Networks introduced the Universal Service Card (USC), a new modular service interface card offering for the SN 16000 intelligent optical switch. The USC redefines flexible, cost-effective optical networking by enabling a variety of interface types, port speeds, and transport options in a single, modular line card.
