May 31--LOS ANGELES -- The offices of Electronic Arts LA are on the west side of town, near the airport, but inside it feels like Hollywood. There are screening rooms throughout the building, casually elegant rooms with comfy chairs, excellent surround-sound systems, and big plasma screen TVs, where EA executives can play their latest offerings -- literally.
