May 30--SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Under the towering magnolias in Forsyth Park, street musician James Nesbitt puts down his worn saxophone to consider global economics.
Mostly, Nesbitt wonders if Savannah's serenity will give way to chaos next month when hordes of protestors, journalists and delegates descend on Savannah for the Group of Eight Summit.
Although the June 8-10 meeting will take place some 70 miles away on Sea Island, Ga., the historic waterfront city is expected to bear the brunt of the crowds and traffic during its peak tourism season.
