NEW YORK _ The Rangers couldn't wait to get to the video screen for second and third looks at their swings.
They particularly enjoyed watching Yankees right fielder Ruben Sierra as his eyes followed the flight of a ball hit by Mark Teixeira off righthander Jon Lieber. When a sinkerball pitcher gets his pitches belt high, as Lieber did Saturday, air-traffic control needs to be on alert.
"I could tell by their swings," Lieber said, after Texas' 8-1 victory before 51,910 at Yankee Stadium. "It was terrible. ... If I don't get the ball down, that's going to be the result."
