Jun. 7--The West Virginia Council for Community and Economic Development voted Friday to loan the Fayette County Urban Renewal Authority $599,000 to acquire land and develop a business park near Oak Hill.
The authority will use the money to acquire a 1,000-acre site and develop about 300 acres to build Wolf Creek Park off of U.S. 19. The park is labeled "mixed-use" which means both business, industrial and residential units can be located there.
